Maharat Inclusion Philosophy

Maharat Learning Center was established in 2017 with a vision to foster the inclusion of children of determination in mainstream schools, universities, and the community at large. We value the individuality of each child in our care and strive persistently to provide them with the opportunity to attain their full potential, regardless of gender, ethnicity, age, background, or ability.

At its heart, inclusive education entails supporting children with special educational needs (SEN) in neurotypical classrooms. Moreover, it is essentially a concept that celebrates uniqueness and values the diversity that each learner offers to the classroom, ultimately leading to an invaluable and immeasurable sense of belonging for the SEN students in the school community. Our ultimate objective is to build a holistically inclusive community that embraces a culture of tolerance and understanding in which all children are truly accepted and appreciated. At Maharat, we strongly believe in the adage that “the experience of the majority should be the experience of all".
