
Sawsan Razzouq, MA
Sousan (Sawsan) H. Razzouk, M.A. is a bilingual Behavioral Supervisor at MLC. She graduated with a BA degree in Psychology, from the American University of Beirut. She acquired her MA degree in Clinical Psychology, from Columbia University (New York). In the past few years, Sawsan completed graduate coursework in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology, and from the University of California (Los Angeles). For the past 12 years, Sawsan has been working in the field of mental healthcare, treatment of individuals with additional needs, and school inclusion. She is now working towards becoming a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. In parallel, she is completing training and coursework to enhance her skills: 1) in the cognitive-behavior therapeutic approach, 2) in clinically treating individuals with trauma and attachment related difficulties, and 3) in counseling families.
In her current role in MLC, she provides behavioral intervention assessments and creates individualised ABA therapy plans. She oversees the implementation of each client’s behavioral intervention, and continuously reviews, re-assesses, and updates the plan. Additionally, she works with families and schools assist them with their students, across the many facets of the academic experience. Her training also equips her to take part in raising community awareness and support, as well as assisting in the Psychology department at MLC.
