Dr. Mark Lovell
Dr. Mark Lovell is a dual-trained Consultant and Child and Adolescent Intellectual Disability
Psychiatrist working in one of the UK’s largest Mental Health and Learning Disabilities
NHS Trusts. He is the Chair of the Child and Adolescent Intellectual Disability Psychiatry
Network and has current roles on the board of the Association for Child and Adolescent
Mental Health, is coopted to the Royal College of Psychiatrists, Intellectual Disability
and Child and Adolescent Faculty executives, and the British Academy for Childhood
Disability executive. He has been involved with NHS England, Public Health England
and Health Education England regarding children and young people with Intellectual
Disabilities and/or Autism. His main clinical interests are Child and Adolescent
Intellectual Disabilities, Autism and Informatics.
